Sales incentive campaigns for authorized vehicle dealers are exempt from SECAP’s authorization
In a recent positioning, the Secretariat for Evaluation, Planning, Energy and Lottery of the Ministry of Economics (SECAP), currently responsible for authorizing commercial promotions in Brazil, stated that sales incentive campaigns promoted by automobile manufacturers, destined for employees of exclusive dealers of a particular brand, do not characterize commercial promotion, and are exempt from registration and prior authorization with the body.
