The reflections of the labor reform in the regulation of the work performed remotely and the “home office”
Studies indicate that approximately 23% (twenty three) of Brazilians who have an steady occupation perform their tasks remotely or in their own residence, called “Home Office”. Regardless of the margin of accuracy of the research, it is an expressive number that is increased on a daily basis because of the technological innovations, the difficulties in commuting in large centers and even the need to reduce costs.
Amid the innumerable innovations resulting from the new legislation that will come into force in November 2017, the legislator was concerned with the inclusion of a chapter only to deal with the relationship between employer and the home office worker. (Portuguese only)
