Deadline to register the Economic-Financial Information and update Net Worth and Paid-In Capital with the Brazilian Central Bank ends on March 31st.
Brazilian Central Bank’s Ruling 3,689/2013, as amended, provides that companies with direct foreign investment with net worth or assets of R$250 million or more must register with the Central Bank, on or before March 31st. 2021, their Economic-Financial Information of the quarter ended on December 31st. 2020.
Companies with net worth and assets of less than R$250 million must also update, on or before March 31st. 2021, their information of net worth and paid-in capital of each foreign investor as of December 31st. 2020.
The failure to update the above information or the late or incomplete filing may result in fines applied by the Central Bank.
