Renato Cury is the co-head of the Consumer Law, Litigation, Public Law, Arbitration and Automotive Law practices at IWRCF.
Lawyer graduated from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC/SP, 1997), Renato Cury holds a postgraduate degree in Civil Procedural Law (2005) and holds a master’s degree in Special and Common Interest Law (2010), focusing on consumer relations, from the same University.
He has large experience in civil, commercial and administrative litigation, besides class actions involving consumer relations. He has also a large knowledge in preventive litigation in matters concerning Civil, Commercial, Public and Consumer Laws.
Renato Cury is also very active in cases related to Automotive Law (Lei Ferrari), especially those related to product liability and dealer termination.
He is praised by national and international publications (Chambers and Partners, Legal 500, Who’s Who and Análise 500) as a leading lawyer in his practice areas. According to Chambers and Partners, Renato Cury is a “problem solver” (2021), and “a very business-oriented and dedicated lawyer”, who has “excellent judgement” (2020).
